Venice Nights

Back in 2011, my wife and I went to Venice on vacation. While I certainly enjoyed the architecture of this slowly drowning city, after four days I was very much ready to leave. Venice may be beautiful, but the sweltering heat and humidity of Venice in August was enough to cause me to loathe leaving our air-conditioned hotel room each morning.
