This is an old photo from way back in 2008 when I was still using a Canon 20D. I captured this photo from the window of a passenger jet as I flew over the Rocky Mountains on my way to the West coast. It was an evening flight and because we were flying over the mountains, there was terrible turbulence and the plane was bouncing around like crazy. To this day I have no idea how I managed to get such a great shot in such unfavorable circumstances, but I’m sure happy I did. I still use this as one of my desktop wallpapers.
