I was waiting for this gondola to arrive for about half an hour before it even began to move.  When I saw it was finally headed my way I couldn’t help but take this photo to commemorate my euphoria. The heat was pretty oppressive, and there was no shade to be found anywhere in the tower where I was waiting, so all I wanted to do was get back to my hotel and take a cool shower and wash away the hot-stink. However, when I got back to my hotel and saw this photo on the computer, I nearly forgot about my tired, hot, sweaty and stinky body.
