This cactus was on the side of the road outside of Surprise, Arizona.  As soon as I saw it, I just had to stop my car and take a picture of it.  I’m sure I looked like a complete idiot lying on my back on the side of a busy four-lane street, but I managed to get this beautiful picture, so I don’t mind.
