When I took this photo, I thought I was perfectly focused on the center of the flower, when in fact the wind had pushed it slightly out of focus. Looking at the photo on my computer, I was very upset with myself (and the wind) until I stepped back and realized that the OOF center actually made the photo a little more interesting to me. Without anything to “focus” on, the photo felt more fanciful and dreamy. And, at least to me, this photo is a bit more “wishful” than I think a better focused photo would have been.
